Overview

CalJam was a joyful rock-n-roll abandon featuring 20+ bands on four stages in October 2018. Promoted by Live Nation, the festival returned to Glen Helen Regional Park and Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA, for an even more monolithic second incarnation of what the Los Angeles Times cited as the reason fans “come to music festivals: to feel connection and catharsis.”

Working for Production Resources Group (PRG), Mandrake Studios was responsible for pre-program, programming, and running the live performances. CalJam was an iconic festival, featuring Foo Fighters, Iggy Pop, Tenacious D, Garbage, Greta Van Fleet, Silversun Pickups, Manchester Orchestra, The Front Bottoms, Black Mountain, Deer Tick, Gang of Youths, Slaves UK, Giants In The Trees Metz, Yungblud, Thunderpussy, Anna Von Hausswolff, Fea, Kingfish, Billy Idol, Bridget Everett, and Mexrrissey. LED walls were used to run timecode visuals from two PRG MBOX media servers using a master and back systems.
